AHH!!

i've been itching to paint! (and i know i've been saying that for the last month) BUT FUCK! I need new drawings, need inspiration! I have to buy canvases and paint. Oh money, why must u pain me =(

I've been busy moving my shit back and forth from the basement to the main floor, renovating / redecorating my sisters old room to suit me, and might I add i'm doing an amazing job =D .. but i've still got alot of moving to do. It's just shit that I got stuck moving my sisters crap rather than her dealing with it. So I pretty much have twice the moving to do- PLUS since I've been shoving everything in the back basement living room, making it a storage room, I have that to organize and fix after i'm done with the 2 rooms. AHHH! I want to finish everything before my mom gets back from the Philippines- which is Aug 27th... wow its almost September... where does the time go?


What I need done - the next couple of weeks
+ get a new job
+ resume
+ quit portrait studio
+ completely move my stuff in
+ continue yoga
+ paint

.. its too bad painting happens to be the least mandatory. Right now I need to focus on getting money. It's sad, how much we rely on money- I WANT TO REBEL! FUCK THE GOVERNMENT! hahaHAHahahahHAha - sorry, i think im going insane.. but I feel that was a necessary outburst..

I've been inspired by yoga lately, and want to continue practicing the act of yoga after my 30 days at Kula. Its amazing the way you are able to train your body - not only with yoga but with any sport / activity you do. The balance and energy I get from it is quite an accomplishment; Balance physically and mentally.

Anyone have any videos they recommend I can follow? I want to start getting into more advanced poses.. not quite sure if im there yet but I'm willing to take the challenge!

HUMAN LCD

Its Sunday June 19, Hungover from last night- not in the mood to do anything but to relax and read. However I do have a restaurant grand opening to attend to soon, the same restaurant i had/have to design the menu for. Still not finished- very close to done. I'm waiting on a couple things such as retakes need to be taken, adding the accents, numbering and that's pretty much it. I haven't been able to work on it though.. The very person who wants this menu done has actually been taking up most of my time- thats time not towards this menu but towards her hair.

Calendar? Not so much

I've been working on a Calendar piece. I was actually pretty excited, "I get to design my own calendar for a real estate agent!" Turns out he already had the design, my job is to organize his information with his daughter's at the bottom of the calendar. Which is challenging actually, since he gave me such bulky, random blocks of info to add there. I have to find a way for everything to blend and flow- To make the whole calendar look like one ... Too bad my client didnt give me a sample of the calendar, when i asked all he said was, "uhh yea i have one at home, ill give it to you soon."

Loo's Tattoo

So im sitting here, skyping w/ gyu, working on Loo's Tattoo & I get a message saying "hey smoke break, we're on our way. I get up off my comfy chair and grab a sweater, put on some socks, grab a jacket (it was pretty chilly last time i was outside), walk back up the stairs and sit my ass down again on the chair thinking they'll be here in 5 minutes or so. 1:00 i got the msg, It's currently 1:43... I hate when they do this.. I'm at home, I'm not leaving my house, dont schwindle me into getting ready earlier than I have to.. its quite irritating.

But on the other hand, listen to these!





I've actually opened up old music saved in my external hard drive and found treasures of songs i used to love, most of them depressing but im still in love w/ them!


Here's part of Loo's tat so far. She originally sketched out a Paisley flower inspired piece with audrey's name written on top of one of the petals. She asked to see what I can do with it, and she seems to like it so far.

Alright well, apparently they're here.. an hour later .. ugh

It's astonishing to me how life like this still exists. In fact, apparently over 100 tribes in the world still exist today.
MIND BOGGLING! Goes to show how little I know about the world & how it is still possible to live bare minimum in what seems like a world of overbearing technology..
